A couple of years ago some friends opened a crystal shop just around the corner from where I now have my gallery. They asked for some artwork to display in the shop, and since most of my work was already on sale somewhere in the town I decided to create some crystal pictures for them. The series grew until I ended up with a set of twelve 'birthstone' pictures, which I then made into birthday cards. Each card carries the picture, the name of the stone, the corresponding birth sign and the dates on the front, and a description of the healing and other properties of that particular stone one the reverse.
