| C apricorn: December 22nd - January 19th Garnet was known in earlier times as the carbuncle. It was reputed to glow in the dark with a light which illuminated the soul and brought hope. Garnet amulets were thought to promote wealth and good luck. In crystal healing garnet is thought to give strength to overcome life's difficulties and help both with the growth of the self and with giving us the strength and courage to help others. Physically, garnet is thought to promote regeneration, the immune system, healing and to stimulate the blood. |
