was commissioned for the cover booklet for France Ellul's CD "The
Seven Harps of Avalon", on which I also play fiddle. The album revolves
around the Arthurian legends of the ancient Isle of Avalon (modern day
Glastonbury), and this was a more or less spontaneous expression of the
mood of some of the grail legends. For further details of France Ellul, and "The Seven Harps of Avalon" CD, also the band "Harps of Avalon" which included myself, France, and Chris Conway, and was formed as a result of the recording, see France's website. If the background to this picture looks familiar, take another look at "Ammonite", and finally, if you have any doubts that there ever stone circles in Glastonbury, look no further than "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley. |
